A Day in the Life of Aphrodite

7:30 AM: Wake up. Lay in bed for a good 30 minutes so I can completely wake myself up.

8:00 AM: Get out of bed and stretch my perfectly toned body.

9:15 AM: Walk over to my mirror and admire my gorgeous and untainted reflection. Gosh, I just love being a goddess.

9:20 AM: Take a refreshing bath in the nearest waterfall. Shampoo with lavender and citrus oils.

9:40 AM: Wrap my finest linens around me and lounge around while my gorgeous blond hair air dries in the radiant sun.

10:30 AM: Change into my sun-robe with the cute golden flowers stitched into it. I like the off the shoulder one so people can see my even tan.

11:30 AM: Eat a healthy breakfast. I like olives with pita bread and olive oil. I need to keep up my girly figure!

12:15 PM: Visit Athena, usually pick her up to visit the next tragic human. She likes to lend out her services. I'm just there to get admired.

2:30 PM: Frolic around in the clouds, usually annoy Zeus. Uh-oh, he better not make it storm on my freshly washed hair.

5:30 PM: Gosh, such an exhausting day calls for a beauty rest! Not like I need one, I'm beautiful with or without sle- IS THAT CUTE GOD WALKING BY?!

6:30 PM: Prep for my date with the muscle cutie who just floated by. Red or Silver robe? Hmm...such choices!

10:30 PM: What a night! I'm surprised I've even come home ;) Time to undress and begin my slumber.

11:15 PM: Place eye cover on me and fall asleep in my down bed.

My life rocks. :)

Basic, and I mean basic, Family tree

Exlusive Interview with Athena

Q: Why did you intervene in Telemachus' life?
A: I'm attracted to these tragic humans because I can sympathize with them. And me being me, I knew I could at least offer him the slightest bit of wisdom and direction. He's been without his father for quite some time now and I have pity on his poor soul. It's about time that he's reunited with his great father.

Q: What would have become of Telemachus' life if you hadn't stepped in?
A: I believe that he wouldn't have been as sure of himself as he is now. I feel that I gave him a goal to reach and a path to begin on . By telling him to visit the Nestor to get information about his father really gave him a jump start on his search. Also, all the other God's jumped in and tried to help him as well after my strong words of advice we're given. Gosh, I'm such a trendsetter.

Q: Do you have any sort of regrets or doubts about stepping in and lending a hand?
A: Honestly, absolutely not. I'm a very confident goddess and I'm not one to sit on past events. And even if he didn't take every bit of advice I gave him, I'm pleased to know that I at least offered him my best and that he knows I'll always be there for him. I care alot about everyone and I'm always here to help.

Q: How do you get along with the other gods?
A: Oh we're all such good friends! I really do love them dearly. However, Zeus kinda gets on my nerves sometimes. He thinks he's all high and mighty and can just boss us around. Pfft. Little does he know. I can zap away his brains at any moment!

Q: What's your favorite thing to do?
A: I love a nice stroll in the clouds. Especially on days that Zeus isn't making the skies storm and get all angry. Oh how those days really suck. But yeah, I like to stroll around in my white robes made of fine silk. The golden laced rope that holds my robe together really shines in the sun, too. And my sandals are just fabulous! Their stitching is flawless and they're made of very supportive leather. And when people aren't looking, I like to take down my hair and let it flow wildly. I have very thick and wavy hair, so it's hard to tame. :)

The Gods and Our Meanings

Here, I (Athena), will go into a short description of what each of us Gods represent. Yes, I'll even describe the men...sadly...

APHRODITE: The gorgeous goddess of beauty, love and sexuality. She's the kind you don't take home to mama.

APOLLO: He makes the sun shine and the moon beam.

ARTEMIS: The goddess of the hunt, wilderness, virginity, and fertility. She's mother nature, ya'll :D

ATHENA: The goddess of wisdom and, if I do say so myself, the TRUE divine beauty ;)

AEOLUS: The god of winds; he'll blow your mind away.

CALYPSO: She's a nymph. Maybe one day she'll be as mighty as us.

CIRCE: This chick is such a freakin' WITCH.

HERA: Goddess of women and marriage. She's boss.

HERMES: You might see him as you walk the great boarders of our lands. He also likes to send our mail to our desired receivers.

POLYPHEMUS: He reminds me of the Monopoly guy. You know, the one who always has one eye super huge because of the magnifying class? lol.

POSEIDON: God of sea and waters; he'll rock you like a hurricane.

RHEA: The mother of all the gods. Mama bear!

ZEUS: God of er'thang. He'll make it rain on dem witches.

So yeah, these are my main peeps. The homies I usually get down with. They're all quite sweet and caring. Just please, please don't make one of them mad. They will get you. True story.
